TY BROADHEAD

Ty has a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture and graduated magna cum laude. Having grown up in the Coachella Valley, he always had a love for growing plants and having his hands in the soil. Ty loves his career and has a great passion for the club and golf course. Ty's career began as a superintendent in 1987 and after a few stepping stones along the way, he was blessed with the opportunity in 2002 to become the superintendent at Tradition. Ty and his wife, Denice have been married for 39 years, and are blessed with four wonderful sons and four amazing daughter in laws. They were all married in a span of 14 months! We have five grandchildren and hope for many more. His favorite sport is college football and he enjoys weightlifting and country music.

Ty loves the natural beauty of the golf course…the mountain views are stunning and the layout brings the mountains into the golfing experience. The club reminds him of the theme song of the hit television show Cheers “Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name” and that is the spirit of Tradition Golf Club.
